Student Coaches
Student Coaching Program
Our Student Coaching Program is designed to support the development of young leaders while enhancing our Intramural League teams. Student coaches must be at least two age levels above the players they are helping. To be considered, student coaches must complete the electronic evaluation form linked below.
This is an unpaid volunteer position intended to provide valuable experience for the student coach while offering additional support to our younger teams. Coaches must be actively engaged and focused on helping the players—those treating the opportunity as a personal skill session will not be asked to return.
Student coaches will be utilized at the discretion of the head coaches. If more student coaches apply than spots available, a rotation system will be implemented to ensure equal opportunity for all participants.

Ice Hockey Systems - Practice Planning Resource
As part of our commitment to coach development, the association provides all coaches with access to Ice Hockey Systems. This online tool offers a large library of drills, practice plans, and coaching resources to support player development at every level.
Coaches can use Ice Hockey Systems to create, customize, and share practice plans with their team staff, helping ensure practices are organized and productive. It’s a useful resource for coaches looking for fresh ideas or structure in their practice planning.
