tryouts
Tryouts will be held August 22nd-24th and 27th-29th.
- Tryouts will consist of four ice times; 1 skills session and 3 scrimmages.
- Roster reductions will be made following the 1st and 2nd scrimmages.
- Tryout fees are $150. There will be a $50 refund for players that do not make first roster reduction.
- Goalies are free.
Goalies
- Goalie specific evaluations will be happening June 27th through Pro-Formance Goalie School at Langley Twin Rinks. Times will be 5:30 and 6:45.
- Highest evaluated goalie will make the team. The second goalie spot will be determined at tryouts in August. All goalies are expected to attend tryouts in August.
- Registration below is for both the goalie specific evaluation in June, and the WCAHA evaluation in August.

Other Tryout Notes:
- Please arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your child’s tryout skate
- Parents are not to enter the bleacher side of the arena (unless to tie skates)
- Upon arrival, you will sign-in and be given a jersey and a printout of an abbreviated version of “what to expect”
- Jerseys must be returned and signed back in after roster reductions or the final day of try-outs.
- The evaluators will be submitting their rankings/selections as players progress through tryouts and final selections will be made by August 29th using the TeamGenius app.
- Roster results will be communicated to every tryout participant by (parent) email over the course of the August 30th weekend. These emails will be scheduled to go out at the same time for everyone.
