Golf tournament to benefit W.C.A.H.A.

The 1st Annual Club-n-Pucker Benefit Golf Tournament will be held on September 25, 2009 at Shuksan Golf Club. Proceeds will benefit the Whatcom County Amateur Hockey Association.  This event has been established to raise money to help offset the high cost of playing hockey for the young athletes who represent your community, Washington State, the Pacific USA Hockey District and Hockey Canada.

Take a day off and enjoy a great round of golf with a delicious dinner to follow. There will be prizes for longest drive and hole-in-one, as well as putt-a-puck and hit the goalie to keep things hockey-centric! Golf carts will be included in the entry fee.There are many sponsorship opportunities also; sign up quickly for those.  Flyers are available at the Sportsplex front desk; they include an entry form and sponsorship information. Please pass this on to all your golfing friends and even the wanna-be golfers. You may also register by calling the Sportsplex at 676-1919. Visa, Mastercard, and Discover cards are accepted.  Cost for the tournament is $100 a person or $400 for a team.  This price includes carts, green fees, and dinner.
